Found out I was mixing my bleach wrong for 3 months, who else had a "wait, what?" moment like this
Had a client in March whose highlights kept coming out brassy no matter what I did, and my coworker finally asked if I was measuring by weight or by scoop. Turns out eyeballing developer in a tint bowl is not the same as a scale, and I'd been off by like 10 grams the whole time. Do you think it's better to learn the hard way like that or to have someone correct you before you waste a client's hair?
