I realized the real value wasn't the desk or the wifi, it was the unplanned conversations with people who get the freelance hustle. Now I make a point to go to at least one event a month, even if it's just for an hour, because those random connections have led to more real help than any online forum. How do you guys find the best events in your area that aren't just sales pitches?
