Blew $600 on a boom angle sensor upgrade that did nothing
Last month I swapped out the factory angle sensor on my Grove RT530E for one of those fancy wireless Bluetooth models, thought it would sync with my tablet and save setup time. Cost me 600 bucks plus an afternoon of wiring, and turns out my 2008 unit's computer can't even process the signal format. The old sensor was fine, I just got caught up in the marketing. Anyone else burn cash on tech that your older rig just couldn't handle?

Man that stings, I feel for you. Nothing worse than dropping real money on something that sounds awesome on paper and then your machine just looks at you like, "what is this thing." At least you know the old one was solid, that's gotta count for something, right?
