More crane ops are picking up drones, and I see why

I got into drone flying last year just for fun! Now I use it to check load paths and ground conditions. It's like having an extra set of eyes from above. This trend is really catching on in our trade.

Yeah it's that same shift we saw when everyone started carrying smartphones on site. What used to be a specialist gadget becomes just another normal tool in the belt. It starts for fun, then you find the practical use that saves time and hassle. Pretty soon it's standard practice because the value is so obvious. Feels like we're right at that point with drones in a lot of hands-on jobs.
