Swapped my old friction crane for a Terex RT 345 and it changed my setup
For 8 years I ran a Link-Belt with friction controls and thought I was fine. Then I rented a Terex RT 345 for a job in Denver last month and realized how much smoother the hydraulic controls are. My old rig had me fighting the swing brake on every load, this new one just glides. Anyone else switch and never look back?

Must be nice having a crane that doesn't fight back every time you touch the lever.

the first time I ran a crane in Seattle back in 2019, @quinnperry, I swear it felt like the thing was personally offended. like it had a mind of its own and was trying to tip over just to spite me.
