Always thought photo prompts were lazy until I tried one yesterday.

I used to avoid them, thinking they didn't help. Now I see how a single image can unlock a whole plot.

Honestly the best part is when a photo gives you a problem to solve... like a weird object in the background that forces your character to react. It pushes past just a mood and into actual story.

Watched my own stubbornness do a full backflip last year after the same thing. Spent months calling visual inspiration cheating, then one random museum postcard basically wrote my whole second chapter. Now my notes are just a graveyard of unsplash tabs.

Found this faded Polaroid at a yard sale last summer, and suddenly a whole CHARACTER just walked into my head fully formed. Total game changer for how I start projects now.

Felix_miller50's unsplash tab graveyard is too relatable. It made me realize that photos don't just give you plots, they hand you the entire atmosphere, like how a gloomy sky in a picture can dictate a scene's emotion before you even write a word.
