Found out a prompt I wrote in 20 minutes got 40 shares from a forum in Iowa
I ran a little prompt contest on a writing board back in March and one of the entries was this two line prompt about a person finding their own handwriting in a library book they never checked out. Took me maybe 20 minutes to write and I almost cut it. Then last week a librarian in Cedar Rapids posted it to a local writers group and it got 40 shares and 12 people wrote back with full scenes. The part that got me is the prompt only worked because I left out who the book belonged to, everyone filled in a different person. What's the shortest prompt you've seen give people the most to work with?
