My prompt notebook got soaked in a rainstorm on my porch in Austin and now I can't read 30 pages of ideas
Left my idea notebook outside on the porch step Friday night and a surprise storm rolled through around 2am. Woke up to 30 pages of prompts smeared into blue mush, including a whole list of opening lines I'd been building for 3 weeks. I tried drying it with a hair dryer on low but the ink just bled more, so I started retyping whatever I could still make out into a notes app. Lesson burned into my brain: keep the notebook in a ziplock bag now. How do you all back up handwritten prompt ideas, do you retype them or just snap pics?
