Why does nobody talk about how much harder it was to check a credit score in 2008?
Back in 2008 I lived in Phoenix and had to mail a written request just to get one free report per year, then wait two weeks for it to show up. Last week I pulled all three reports on my phone in under four minutes, which got me thinking about how different things are. Does anyone else remember paying $14.95 a month for a monitoring service that barely worked, and do you think easy access has actually made people better or worse with their credit?
