Dropped $140 on a Western Digital 4TB external drive to back up client files and it died in 4 days
I bought it last week from Best Buy in Dallas because I had a client move a deadline from Wednesday to Saturday and I was working 14 hour days. The thing started making clicking sounds on day 4 and the geek squad guy told me these drives have a high fail rate. I lost 2 client projects that were only saved on there and had to beg for extensions, which is my nightmare in this community. Has anyone found a cloud backup that does not cost a fortune for big video files?
