Just figured out my deadline math was always wrong until a 6 AM email from a Minneapolis editor tipped me off
I used to pad every quote by 2 days out of panic, but when that editor said 'this is actually due Thursday' and I had it done by Tuesday, I realized the pad was making me procrastinate worse than the real timeline ever did, has anyone else found that their buffer backfires like that?
