Buddy of mine tried those silicone ones thinking they'd be safer than paper. First time he used it the thing started smoking so bad his wife thought the house was on fire. He pulled the basket out and the liner had melted and fused right to the bottom of the basket. Took him an hour with a scraper and some elbow grease to get the melted plastic off. Now he tells everyone to just spray the basket with cooking spray and move on.

That guy Dave sounds like a keeper. Reminds me of the time my buddy hired a septic tank inspector separate from the one his realtor suggested.
