Inspection said the roof was fine, second opinion caught it 3 days later
I signed the contract on a 1978 ranch in Austin because the inspector gave it a clean bill. My contractor buddy walked the attic for 5 minutes and pointed at rafters with old water stains and active mold. Has anyone else paid for a second inspection after the first one missed something big, and how much did it set you back?
