The cloud backup that silently failed 4 days before the big reveal
My local folder was syncing fine to the client's shared drive, but their storage quota filled up and it just quit winking at me. I only caught it when I opened a file to double check the final version and found it was 2 revisions old. Has anyone else had a silent quota wall bury the last few days of work?

Ugh, that is the worst feeling! I have totally been there and it makes you want to throw the whole computer out the window. What got me was that the sync tool showed a green checkmark like everything was fine, no warning at all until I tried to open the file myself. Now I make it a habit to check the actual folder on the shared drive, not just my local copy, before I call anything done. Also, set a reminder to check the quota on their end once a day if you're working on a big project. It takes two seconds but saves you from that nasty surprise. I also started keeping a separate zip file of the final versions on my own USB stick, just in case.
