I don't buy the hype around digital portfolios replacing live demos
Everyone says online galleries are enough, but showing work in person to clients gets much more useful feedback. It's a game changer for sealing deals.

From what I've seen, putting your work online really does help get more eyes on it. I read somewhere that most hiring managers look at digital portfolios first now. It just makes the whole process faster for both sides.
