Spent 3 months in Lisbon before I figured out the time zone thing was backwards for me
Everyone says to work on your home country's hours so clients can reach you, but after two months of 9pm calls from a cafe in Alfama I switched to local hours and actually got more done. My client in Denver just learned to send emails at night and we stopped playing phone tag entirely. Anyone else find that fighting the local clock was the real mistake, not the fix?

Ha! Took me way too long to figure that out too. Chasing home hours just meant I was tired all the time and nobody cared anyway.
