The barista in Chiang Mai called out my wifi habit and it stuck with me
I was sitting at a cafe in Nimman for like the fifth day straight and this barista started laughing when I pulled out my laptop again. She said "you know we have a whole second floor with nobody on it, right?" I had no idea because I always grabbed the first table by the door out of habit. Turned out the upstairs had better fans, faster wifi, and actual outlets. Now I always walk through a place before I pick my spot, and my morning work sessions are way less sweaty. Do you scope out the whole cafe first or just grab whatever table is open?

Wait she had to TELL you there was a whole second floor? I would have sat at that same sweaty table for a month without ever looking up.
