Wasted $300 on a co-working space that promised high-speed internet but the WiFi dropped every 20 minutes in Tokyo
I paid upfront for a month at this trendy spot in Shibuya based on the photos. After three days of constant disconnects during client calls, I had to eat the cost and find a cafe instead. Anyone else get burned by a co-working space that oversold their amenities?

Did you try asking them for a refund at least? I used to think these trendy co-working spots were worth the hype, you know, all the photos of happy people on laptops with coffee cups. But then I booked a place in Shinjuku that bragged about "enterprise-grade fiber" and the WiFi was slower than my phone hotspot. Had to sit in a McDonalds for a week because the lobby was the only spot with a signal... it really changed how I look at those fancy promises.

So are we just gonna act like every business with a flashy website is running a scam @nancyramirez? I mean, I get that co-working places are hit or miss, I've been burned by them myself a few times. But honestly, some of them do deliver on what they promise, you just gotta do your homework. Quinnperry, that Shinjuku spot sounds like a dud, but that doesn't mean every trendy office space is pure fluff. Maybe the real issue is that folks stop looking once they see a nice photo and a few buzzwords.
