A surveyor in Baton Rouge told me my swing was 2 feet off and it fixed my whole cut
I used to just eyeball my swing tension and dump the spoil wherever, until a surveyor on a Baton Rouge job said flat out that I was walking my cutter 2 feet off the line every pass and that's why the channel kept needing a cleanup drag. Started running a taut wire and checking my spud pins every 30 feet instead of once a shift, and my last 4,000 foot cut came in right on grade with no rework. Anybody else been called out on their swing and switched up how they hold the line?
