Had a whole sheet start to sag on a ceiling in a Reno kitchen last Tuesday
The adhesive just didn't set right, so I had to prop it with a deadman for an extra day and then screw it every 6 inches. Anyone ever have a similar glue fail on a hot day?
I mean, I've had glue set too fast on a hot day and get brittle, but not really fail to stick. Maybe it's just me, but I've seen more fails from a cold surface or not enough pressure when it was going off.
Yeah, what kind of glue are we talking about here? I had a super glue bottle in my hot garage and it turned to solid rubber overnight. Some of the water based ones just dry out and get crumbly before they can even bond right. It's like the heat cooks all the good stuff out of it.
