Hit 200 hours of continuing ed this year and the last 40 snuck up on me
I sat down Sunday night to renew my license and add up my hours, and I came out at 203 total. I honestly thought I was way behind. Between the code update class at the community college in Salem and a couple of online courses I knocked out over winter, it added up faster than I expected. The part that got me was the 40 hours I did in the six weeks after my daughter was born, mostly late night stuff on my laptop while she slept on my chest. I figured those late sessions were sloppy and wouldn't count for much, but the certificates were all there and the code changes actually stuck with me on a panel swap I did in April. Feels good to not be scrambling the week before renewal like I was in 2022, when I paid a rush fee I'm still a little mad about. Curious how you all track your hours, because mine are scattered across three folders and a shoebox of printed certificates right now.
