Shoutout to the new guy for spotting my mistake
We were putting in wires for a house last week. He saw a ground cable I forgot in a box. How do you make sure everything is right before you leave?

You know what gets me is how that happens everywhere, not just with wires. It's so easy to miss one small thing when you're tired or in a hurry, and that's always the thing that causes a bigger problem later. I try to do a final slow walk through, like I'm seeing the job for the first time, and it catches a lot. But sometimes you just need that second pair of eyes, you know? Makes you wonder how many problems start with someone just being too rushed to double-check their own work.

True, and it's crazy how often that tiny oversight snowballs into a major issue. Like in coding, one missed semicolon can break a whole program, and you only catch it after wasting hours debugging. Having a buddy review your code before pushing it live saves so many headaches. Really makes you appreciate systems where checks are built in, like pair programming or even just mandatory sign-offs.

What if second eyes just excuse our own sloppiness, @simon282?
