Spotted a clue in a panel schedule that saved a rough-in

Was grabbing material at the supply house and saw a guy return three spools of 12/2 because his schedule went sideways. He muttered about a thermostat load nobody counted. Do you guys double-check lighting control panels before ordering wire?
