The inspector who made me ditch my pigtail routine
Had a rough inspection on a remodel in Tacoma last month. The inspector watched me pigtail all the grounded conductors and said, 'You know that's slower and leaves more chances for a loose joint, right?' He showed me a Wago lever nut and a proper torque check on a panel he had in his truck. I switched on the next two jobs and cut about 15 minutes off each rough-in. Anyone else get dragged into the modern era by a picky inspector?
