Vent: Used to spend 20 min stripping wires by hand like a caveman
Back when I first started out solo, I was using my linesmans and a pocket knife to strip everything. Took forever on a 200amp panel in a house near Denver, made my hand cramp up like crazy. Finally broke down and bought a Klein auto-stripper last year, now I get that same job done in maybe 5 minutes. Anyone else hold onto old habits way longer than they should?

Like a caveman" - I once used a butter knife to strip wire cause my tools were in the truck.

Dude my buddy from trade school told me he once stripped a whole 100ft roll of THHN with a pair of scissors because he forgot his strippers at home. Said it took him like an hour and he wanted to throw the whole roll out the window after.
