Totally get that feeling. I used to be the same way with my own budget. Setting up a super simple spreadsheet on my phone was the only thing that stuck for me. Just one column for money in and one for money out, nothing fancy. It finally stopped feeling like a puzzle and just became a quick habit.

Yeah charlie_rodriguez31 asked what's weird. I don't find them puzzling at all, they're a pretty smart fix for a steep city. Just seems like solid engineering to me.
