Got caught in a power outage during a call at the old Baxter building downtown.

Had to guide a passenger out of a stuck car with just a flashlight and my voice. Now I'm split on whether we should push for backup lighting in every hoistway or if that's overkill for most buildings.

Wait, they don't already check the battery dates during regular service? That seems like the first thing you'd look at.
