My jade roller habit turned into a game of fetch with my dog

I got a jade roller last month after seeing it all over social media, thinking it would smooth out my morning puffiness. I made it a point to use it right after washing my face every day. It felt nice at first, just rolling it on my cheeks and forehead. Then my dog, Buster, decided it was his new favorite toy. He would stare at me while I used it, and one morning he jumped up and grabbed it off the sink. Now, if I even pick it up, he runs over with his slobbery tennis ball to trade. My skin might look a little better, but my routine is basically a play session now. Honestly, his happy wiggle is the best part of my day, even if my roller smells like dog breath.

Ugh, I have to be that person but this sounds like a mess. That roller is covered in dog germs now (sorry, it just is) and that totally wrecks the point of cleaning your face. You bought it for a skincare step, not to be a slobbery toy. The whole thing seems like it defeated the purpose, and now you're just playing fetch with a weird smooth stone.

Oh man, I feel called out. My dog has definitely claimed a fancy face massager as his new weird chew toy. Now I just have a slimy rock and a guilty conscience about wasting money.
