Rolled my eyes at facial massage claims for years

Finally tried gua sha on a red, puffy client after a breakout. Seeing the lymphatic drainage happen in real time was wild. Has anyone else had a tool they dismissed that ended up being worth the hype?

Grabbed my gua sha tool thinking "this is just a fancy rock" and immediately proved myself wrong lmao. Watched a friend's puffy morning face go down in like 10 minutes of gentle scraping, felt like a witch. Still feel ridiculous doing it but the results are undeniable, especially around my jawline after a salty meal.

Oh wait, is that what it's actually supposed to do? I've been using mine all wrong, I was just scraping it across my face hoping for the best. Maybe I need to actually watch a tutorial instead of guessing lmao. The salty meal thing is so real though, I swear sodium just camps in my face for days.
