That 45 minute eyebrow wax debate with a new client

Last Tuesday I had a client who wanted her brows waxed but also insisted on threading because her cousin said waxing stretches the skin. I told her I've been waxing for 6 years at this shop in Portland and never had a complaint, but she kept going back and forth. We spent 45 minutes just talking before she finally let me do it, and honestly I'm wondering if the whole 'wax vs thread' thing is more about what people hear on TikTok than real results. She loved the outcome by the way, but has anyone else had clients argue about technique like this when they've never even tried both?
