Serious question, did anyone else hit hoof #500 and realize their nippers were done?
I counted my trim log and hit 512 hooves since January, and the edge on my 14 inch nippers is shot, they were chewing instead of cutting on a mare in Weatherford yesterday. I thought I was just having an off day until the owner said the last guy's cuts looked cleaner. How often are you all getting nippers sharpened, or am I just riding them too long?
