Bought a $180 silk slip dress pattern pack and the instructions were useless

I dropped $180 on this pattern collection because the photos looked so clean and modern. But the grading was all over the place, the seam allowances weren't labeled, and the diagrams skipped the trickiest part of the bias cut. I spent 4 evenings just trying to figure out the collar. Total waste of money and fabric, I ruined about $60 worth of silk too. Has anyone else bought one of those "beginner friendly" designer patterns that turned out to be a mess?
