Seriously though, @white.keith, pajamas with pockets are a game changer. I got some last year and it's so nice to not have your phone or remote just fall out when you get up. It's about the little comforts making life easier, not just the fabric feel. You don't realize how much you need them until you try it. Trust me, once you have pockets you won't go back.
