Charged $15/hr for my first logo job in Denver, then found out the going rate was way higher
I did my first freelance design gig 4 months ago in Denver, a small bakery logo, and I priced it at $15 an hour because I had no clue what to charge. A designer friend pulled up a rate sheet from the local freelance group and the average for that same work was $65 an hour, which honestly made me a little sick. Where do you all go to check real rates before you send your first quote to a client?
