My neighbor's spreadsheet changed how I price local projects

I had a small logo job for a bakery in Dayton, and I quoted $150 because that felt fair for a few hours of work. My neighbor, who does bookkeeping, saw my proposal and told me I was lowballing myself. She showed me a spreadsheet with her own first gig numbers, and the math made me realize I wasn't accounting for revisions or the back-and-forth emails. I bumped the quote to $220, and the bakery accepted without blinking. Has anyone else had a trusted friend question their price and end up being right?
