Quoted a logo job at $400 last month, then the client vanished after I sent the invoice
So I finally tried to go out on my own doing logos about 6 weeks back, and a guy from a local coffee shop in Boise hit me up on Facebook. I gave him a price of $400 for 3 concepts plus 2 rounds of tweaks, he said great, and I put in probably 9 hours over a weekend. Sent the invoice and he just went silent, no reply, nothing, and it turns out he got his nephew to do it for free instead. Back when I did my very first paid gig in 2011 for $50 I got burned way less than this, weird how that works. Anyone else deal with ghosting after the work is done, and do you ask for half upfront or just eat it?
