Got a $25 tip and a 5 star review on the same Fiverr order last week, then a buyer in Austin asked for a full refund 3 days later
Man what a rollercoaster. So last Tuesday I delivered a logo gig on Fiverr, buyer loved it, tipped me $25 on top of the $60 order and left a glowing review. I'm thinking ok this platform is finally working for me. Then Friday I get a message from a different client in Austin saying the design looked nothing like his brief and he wants his $150 back. I go look at the brief again and honestly he changed his mind halfway through, never said anything, just sat on it for a week. Now I'm stuck between eating the refund to keep my rating or fighting it and risking a bad review. Anyone else deal with buyers who move the goalposts after delivery? How do you handle it without torching your response time score?
