My Fiverr gig got flagged for using the word "professional" and I lost 2 weeks of orders
So last month I had a gig selling voiceover intros and it was doing okay, like 8 orders a week. Then out of nowhere Fiverr sent me that dreaded email saying my gig was under review for "misleading terms." I had no clue what that meant. I used the word "professional" in my title and description because, well, I am one, I've been doing radio spots in Tampa for 6 years. But apparently their system flagged it as a quality claim they can't verify. My gig went dark for 11 days. I lost about $340 in orders that just vanished. I finally got a human on chat after 3 tries and she said to swap "professional" for "clear" and "studio quality mic" or something. It worked, gig came back in 2 days. Has anyone else had their gig flagged for a word they use every day? What words are on the secret no no list?
Losing 340 bucks over a word you've been using your whole career is just brutal. The whole system flags stuff with zero human review and you're the one eating the lost orders. Glad it came back fast once you switched it up.
