Guy at the supply house in Toledo watched me float a floor and asked why I was pushing the trowel instead of pulling it
Turns out pulling the notched trowel toward me at about a 60 degree angle gives me taller ridges and way better transfer, and I have not had a hollow spot in 8 months since. Anyone else learn trowel angle the hard way?
