My cooler broke at a wedding in June, here's what I did instead

Last month I had a gig at a big outdoor wedding near Asheville and my walk-in cooler gave out the night before. I panicked and grabbed every bucket, bin, and even a kiddie pool from my garage to hold the flowers with ice. It worked, but I had to check water levels every two hours through the whole reception. Has anyone else had a last minute cooling fail and what did you rig up to get through it?

Last time I did a wedding gig, I swore by those blue ice packs and thought coolers were overrated. But after seeing your kiddie pool hack, I'm totally rethinking that. The way you had to babysit the water levels actually sounds way more stressful than my setup, so I give you major props for pulling it off. Honestly, I would've just told the couple to go with fake flowers and called it a day, lol. Your dedication is next level, and I'm definitely stealing that pool idea if my fridge ever acts up again.
