I saw a freelance agent in Austin list a house without a single good photo

It was a nice property, but the pictures were dark and blurry, like they used a phone from 2010. The listing sat for over 60 days while similar homes sold in two weeks. I know from my own work that first impressions are everything online. What's the one thing you think makes or breaks a listing right now?

Is it really that big of a deal though? I've seen houses with awful photos sell just fine because the price was right or the location was hot. Maybe the Austin market is so crazy that even a blurry picture gets clicks if it's priced low. Sometimes people just want the facts, square footage and price, and they'll go see it anyway. Bad photos might just filter out the picky buyers, not kill the deal.

Honestly, I kinda agree with Diana. If the price is a steal or it's in a super hot area, people will look past terrible photos. They're just gonna drive by or go to the open house anyway. The facts and the numbers matter way more than a dark picture of the kitchen.

Wait, blurry pictures get clicks now... that's wild.

Can't you just fix them with your phone?
