Spent $60 on a CRM trial and it saved my ass on a deal

I finally caved and tried that basic CRM for real estate freelancers, the one that costs $20 a month. After 3 months I caught a lead I'd totally forgotten about from a open house back in April. That one follow-up turned into a $3,000 commission check. Has anyone else had a cheap tool pay for itself like that?

Honestly my buddy runs a small landscaping company and he signed up for that $15 a month CRM just to track his quotes. He had a quote out to this one lady from like 8 months ago and she never responded so he just forgot about it. Last month the CRM reminded him to follow up and she ended up booking a $4,000 paver patio job. He said he almost didn't send the email because he figured she'd ghost him again. Turns out she just had been busy with moving and totally appreciated the nudge. So yeah these cheap tools can really pay off if you stick with them.

Man that Perry story is EXACTLY what happened to me with a $15 a month CRM I tried on a whim. I had a quote out to a small business owner for like 5 months and wrote it off, then the CRM popped up a reminder and I sent a quick text. Dude booked a $2,500 job the same day and said he just got slammed with other stuff. Cheap tools like that basically print money if you just let them do the remembering for you.

Perry's buddy story is the exact reason these cheap CRMs are worth it. People get busy and forget, and that one nudge can land a huge job you'd already written off. The paid reminder feature alone justifies the cost if you're even halfway organized. It's wild how often the leads that go silent for months end up being the biggest paydays. Totally with you on this one, the cheap tools win when you actually use them.
