A guy at the shared office said my standing desk was a 'distraction'
He walked by my spot in the Denver co-working space and said, 'All that up and down motion breaks my focus.' I've always thought it helped my back after six hour edits. Do you think shared spaces should have rules about moving furniture?

My old office had a rule against moving chairs during "quiet hours". It just made everyone tense about normal fidgeting. People get weird about controlling tiny things they can see, instead of the actual noise.
