Vent: I thought the 'digital nomad visa' for Croatia was just hype

After 3 months here, the tax breaks for freelancers are real and saved me about 2k euros. Anyone else find a surprisingly good deal in an unexpected place?

Yeah cost used to be my biggest worry too. Then I saw what you actually get for your money and it made way more sense.

You said "what you actually get for your money," but @the_ben, that's the whole question. Like, if the rent is double, but you don't need a car because transit is free and good, does that count? Or if groceries cost more but your heating bill is tiny. I feel like the math isn't just the price tag, it's what you're forced to spend on.
