I'm baffled by glaziers who skip the primer on aluminum frames
Just did a job where the old sealant failed because no primer was used (shocking, right?). Now the whole unit is leaking and the customer is mad. I always prime, even if it adds time, because it prevents callbacks. Why cut corners on something so basic? It just doesn't make sense to me.

Not every skipped primer job fails, so maybe it's not that serious.

Wait, the whole street found out in a week? That's crazy fast. Word of mouth travels way quicker than people realize. You really can't hide a bad job.

Honestly its not just about the callback. Its about your name in the neighborhood. That leak ruins more than a window, it wrecks your reputation. Customer tells their whole family, their friends. Now they think all glaziers are hacks. You saved twenty minutes on primer but lost twenty future jobs. That math never works out.

Heard about a guy who fixed a roof but missed one shingle. Whole street knew within a week and he never got work there again.
