Switching to digital setlists cut our paper waste at gigs...

My band used to print fresh setlists for every show... It felt like a small thing but the paper piled up fast. We started using old tablets instead, and it's way easier to update songs on the fly. A few fans commented on it at our last show, which was cool. Honestly, it's a simple change that any indie act could try.

Jessica's point about tossing old tablets is spot on. Producing tablets involves mining and manufacturing that harms the environment more than paper. Sometimes the old way is better for the planet.

But doesn't that depend on how long you keep the tablet? If it lasts for years of gigs, doesn't that balance out the mining thing?
