I finally linked my headache after client calls to not eating lunch on their time
I have a regular call with a client in London right when I'd normally eat lunch here. I used to just power through and get a MASSIVE headache by mid-afternoon. Now, I eat a small snack right before the call and keep water handy. It sounds simple, but it totally fixed my focus and made those cross-chat sessions way smoother.

That's such a common trap to fall into. It's wild how the simple fixes are the easiest to miss.

Last month I spent two hours trying to figure out why my monitor wouldn't turn on. I checked the graphics card, updated drivers, the whole deal. My partner walks in, leans over, and plugs the power cable back into the wall. It had gotten knocked loose. I just stared at the login screen for a solid minute. You really do feel like a prize idiot when the answer is that simple.

@flores.morgan, you hit on something real with the simple fixes thing. Our minds skip over easy answers, thinking they're too obvious to work. Like when I spent hours on a project and forgot to save the file, it shows how we miss basics. We get so caught up in details that the clear solution hides in plain sight. Training yourself to pause and check the simple stuff first avoids a lot of headache. It's a lesson worth remembering.

Ugh, @sandra_moore30, we all need that reminder daily.
