The 14-day bank hold that made me rethink net-30 terms entirely
Ngl, I had a client in Denver pay an invoice on time, but their bank put a 14-day hold on the check, so my rent was late anyway. Is the standard net-30 actually protecting anyone, or are we all just pretending the clock starts when we see the money?

Dealt with the same thing last month, it drove me crazy waiting on that stupid hold.
