Rented a uHaul last weekend and just realized I packed the dolly underneath everything

I spent 4 hours in the Atlanta heat last Saturday moving my stuff into a storage unit. After I got home I realized I buried the furniture dolly at the bottom of the first load I unloaded. So I had to dig through 15 boxes just to get it out for the second trip. Has anyone else done something this dumb on moving day?

Bruh that's a classic moving day fail. I packed my tool box behind the couch once and had to move that heavy thing three times to get to it. The heat makes everything ten times worse too. At least you found it eventually, could've been a whole extra trip wasted.

Man I feel your pain on that one. That Atlanta heat is no joke, and having to dig through everything after already being exhausted is the worst. I did something similar when I moved last year - I left my box cutter in the first box I sealed up and had to tear it back open in the middle of a downpour. It's like your brain just checks out when you're in the middle of moving chaos. What did you end up doing about the storage unit layout after that mess?
