Pro tip: Skip the fancy CRM software when you're just starting out

I dropped $200 a month on a flashy CRM for 6 months before realizing I barely used half the features. Now I'm back to a simple spreadsheet and saving that cash for actual equipment upgrades. Anyone else overbuy on tools too early?

Totally agree with ditching the fancy stuff. I did the same thing with an all in one invoicing and project management platform that cost a fortune and I only used like 10% of it. Went back to a free Google Sheets template and a separate free invoicing app. Saved enough in three months to buy a decent used lens for my camera setup, which actually helps me make money.
